Event description

Description

Please join the Foreign Policy Association in welcoming Chief U.S. Economist for Morgan Stanley, Ellen Zentner.

In 2020, lower interest rates continue to support the economy. Exports and business investment rise from very low levels due to improvement in global economic conditions. These factors stabilize the slowdown in US growth. Economic policy uncertainty in the presidential election year is a key downside risk.

This lecture is part of the Peter G. Peterson Distinguished Lecture Series on National Security and Fiscal Policy.
