Join us at the 1st annual Merit Badge Fair hosted by Troop 69! $5 Registration. Lunch provided.

About this Event

There will be a morning and an afternoon merit badge session, however, most of the classes will use both sessions. Physicals to complete the BSA Annual Health and Medical Record will be available for participants at no additional fee, but time slots are limited, so registration will be on a first come first serve basis. Please bring the current BSA Annual Health & Medical record with all parts needing signatures of parent/guardian fully completed.

An hour for lunch is scheduled between the morning and afternoon sessions. Lunch includes two slices of pizza, cookie, fruit and a beverage. Parking is available in the lot on the south side of the church. To register for classes, please use the entrance to the Fellowship Hall at the corner of South Walnut and West High Streets. $5.00 is payable at the door for Merit Badge class registration. Registration starts at 8:30am and the morning session begins at 9.

Merit Badge Pre-Reqs:

Please see the detailed information posted under each Merit Badge listed on the Registration window page to learn if there are additional costs associated with a particular MB course, as well as, any pre-requisites (What you will need to accomplish outside of the class session.) needed to complete that Merit Badge. If you choose to do the pre-reqs before coming to class, please bring either a letter with you from your Scout Leader verifying that you have completed those requirements or bring your work with you. If all work is satisfactory you will be able to have your Merit Badge fully signed off at the event. Otherwise, the Merit Badge Counselor will only sign off on all requirements completed during class at this event, and you will need to finish any other requirements at a later time in order to fully complete the Merit Badge. If there is any additional costs associated with a particular Merit Badge, please bring that EXACT AMOUNT of money with you to the Merit Badge Fair, and give it directly to the Merit Badge Counselor that day. If a particular Merit Badge offered here has Pre-Reqs listed as “none” you will be able to accomplish all requirements for that Merit Badge during the MB class period at this event.
