Join your fellow SLEI-Ed alumni for the inaugural yearly “SLEI-Ed Alumni BHAG Event!”

About this Event

The event will be held Saturday morning, February 1st 2020, at the Stanford Graduate School of Business immediately following Friday’s events (5th annual State of Latino Entrepreneurship Forum and SLEI-Ed alumni dinner).

Begin the new year with a powerful workshop on a roundtable setting, aimed to create accountability within you and your fellow SLEI-Ed alumni as we aim for that BHAG we should have for our businesses. This will be immediately followed by a speaker session in the afternoon showcasing Guillermo Diaz (most recent CIO at Cisco Systems), delivering a powerful message related to strategic growth.

  • 9:30AM - 10:00AM - Registration (coffee and light breakfast)
  • 10:00 AM - 10:10 AM - Welcome and intro
  • 10:15 AM - 11:45 AM - Strategy Planning with Raj Tedla - Raj is the founder and CEO of VRT Management Group, LLC, a business transformation company that specializes in assisting SMB customers reach their goals and vision. VRT Management Group has assisted over 65+ companies in the past 12 years across 18 countries to transform their people, processes and strategy to successfully grow their businesses through his EGOS program. He is also the creator of a unique program called EGOS – Entrepreneur Growth Operating System for SMB businesses. Prior to starting VRT Management Group, LLC, Raj was the Senior Vice President for GE Capital – Capital Markets division. He spend several years at GE in various leadership roles and working with several different GE divisions, GE Lighting, GE Aircraft Engines, GE Support Services, and GE Capital Equipment Finance. Rajesh holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Masters degree in Industrial Technology and an MBA in Strategy. He has over 21 different certifications in addition to his 31 years of experience and expertise.

  • 12:30PM - 1:30PM - Speaker Session with Guillermo Diaz. Guillermo is broadly known in the industry for alining people, process and technology. Most recently, from 2015 to 2019, he served as Cisco’s Chief Information Officer, responsible for the Global Information Technology organization, strategy and services. His focus was driving the business acceleration critical to the agile, digital transformation of Cisco, its customers and partners. In the newly formed charter as head of “Customer Transformation,” he and his team will leverage Cisco’s own digital journey and thought leadership to partner with customers on their own transformation programs.   • 1:30PM - 3:30PM - BHAG Round Table Workshop. Objective: To create an accountability group within the alumni group with a board of directors format. Alumni attendees will get their own “SLEI-ED Familia Board of Directors,” all encouraged to keep in touch post event to reach that BHAG.
