PLEASE NOTE: Your Passport includes a regular wine tasting at each of the 15 member wineries one time from January 1 through August 31, 2020, at the holder's leisure. If you have not received your Passport or forget your Passport, you will need to pay for tastings at each winery visited. Your printed paper receipt will NOT be accepted in place of the actual Passport booklet. Passport is NOT valid for groups of 8 people or more. Price includes NY sales tax ($35+$2.80)

What: Self-guided wine tasting tour of the Shawangunk Wine Trail.

Valid: January 1, 2020, through August 31, 2020

Where: All Shawangunk Wine Trail member wineries.

Let the adventures begin! The Hudson Valley Wine Tasting Passport, allows you to receive one regular wine tasting at each of the 15 member wineries of the Shawangunk Wine Trail, at your own pace for one low price!

This is a great way to start the year, visiting your favorite wineries and discovering new favorites along the way! At each winery, you will enjoy both old vintages and new releases. When you arrive at each winery, simply present your Passport to your server to receive a stamp and your wine tasting.

PLEASE NOTE: Passports will be mailed out beginning November 1, 2019, just in time for Holiday gift-giving! Please allow 3-5 business days from time of purchase to receive.


You MUST bring your Passport and a valid photo ID to all the wineries visited. You will be required to show your Passport to your server at each winery to receive your wine tasting and stamp in your Passport. The Passport is intended for individuals and couples, and NOT intended for groups larger than 8. If you have not received your Passport, forgotten or misplaced it, you will need to pay full price for tastings at each winery visited. Your printed paper receipt will NOT be accepted. Passports will NOT be replaced if lost or stolen. Passports can NOT be refunded for any reason. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

It is illegal to bring outside alcoholic beverages onto our properties. Any visitor who is Intoxicated or disorderly or who has brought an outside alcoholic beverage onto our properties will not be served, should not expect a refund, and may be asked to leave.

Weather Policy: This event is never canceled and all wineries will be open regardless of the weather.

Group Policy: The Shawangunk Wine Trail will accept groups up to 8 for Shawangunk Wine Trail events. 

Blackout Dates: The Passport is not valid during SWT events: April 18-19, 2020 during Wines & Bites Weekend. The Passport is also not valid for or at any individual winery event(s). Please check before your visit for each wineries operating hours here.

Shawangunk Wine Trail

The Shawangunk Wine Trail is home to 15 wonderfully diverse, family-owned wineries nestled between the famous Shawangunk Mountains and the majestic Hudson River. Just 60 miles north of New York City and south of Albany, the eighty-mile-long Wine Trail winds through the scenic Hudson Valley from New Paltz and Marlboro in Ulster County to Warwick in Orange County. This is where winemaking began in America and continues today. Take a tour of the Shawangunk Wine Trail and find your favorite Hudson River Region wines!

Each winery has limited starting ticket availability. Groups traveling together must purchase tickets together to ensure the starting winery is the same for all members of the group.  

Groups of 10 or more will NOT be accepted at the following wineries: Applewood Winery, Brimstone Hill Vineyards, Glorie Farm Winery, Stoutridge Vineyard, and Whitecliff Vineyard.

WEATHER POLICY:  Event is held regardless of weather conditions.

BUS POLICY: No buses larger than 10 passengers will be accepted.
