In response to health and safety restrictions related to COVID-19, the Hope for Autumn Foundation Crawfish Boil will be transformed into a Drive-Thru Crawfish Boil. This "contactless" crawfish boil allows our foundation to raise funds for our most vulnerable childhood cancer families in Alabama while providing our famous crawfish to our loyal supporters!
Here's how the Hope for Autumn Foundation Drive-Thru Crawfish Boil will work:
- Order your crawfish plate online, in advance, by Wednesday, May 6 at midnight.
- Single plates or family plates are available. A single plate will contain crawfish for one plus corn and potatoes, a family plate will contain crawfish for 5 plus corn and potatoes. NEW: Purchase an add-on of a quart of ice cream with 6 cake cones from The Whole Scoop Ice Cream Shop! Choose from salted caramel, cookies and cream, chocolate chocolate chip, and crazy cookie dough!
- Drive to the Hoover Met (follow the signs to the pickup place) May 9 between 2-5pm. Remain in your car at all times, your plates will be handed to you or loaded into the back of your vehicle by volunteers using gloves and social distancing. Don't forget to bring your tickets!
There will be no walkups or onsite purchases. Our volunteers, staff, and YOU are expected to follow all recommended safety precautions, including social distancing. If you are sick or feel unwell, please send someone else to pick up your order.
Thank you for supporting our nonprofit during this time! The cancellation of our traditional crawfish boil, which is our biggest event of the year, has the potential to negatively affect hundreds of families battling childhood cancer in Alabama that count on us for financial support. Your donation will keep us up and running and helping these families that need it more than ever!
**This event will occur rain or shine, tickets are nonrefundable. However, date subject to change based on pandemic related concerns. **
