Take advantage of our unique summer professional learning opportunities to elevate global perspectives and learning of complex global issues throughout your school. Join a group of professional peers, bring back practical tools, and prepare your students for an interconnected world.

Reserve your spot by registering online and paying an initial deposit of $200. Invoices for the remainder will be sent after registration, final payments will be due before the program begins. UNDERSTANDING CHINA TODAY // San Francisco Bay Area // June 22-25, 2020

In partnership with numerous organizations including Stanford University, we will provide an intensive learning experience that will utilize the strong concentration of expertise and scholarship on China currently taking place in the Bay Area to explore the current political, cultural, and economic landscape of China.
Audience: Teachers of China (history/literature/global issues/economics); international student advisors; school leaders; admissions directors
Cost: $1,900 members, $2,300 non-members (includes housing and most meals, but not flights to/from the Bay Area)


CLIMATE CHANGE, CONSERVATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT // Panama // June 22-27, 2020

Together with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, participants will explore the interconnection between climate change, conservation, and economic development in Panama using ongoing environmental issues and scientific research as a platform for bringing global issues into the classroom.
Audience: Science, Global Issues teachers; sustainability leaders
Cost: $1,900 members, $2,100 non-members (includes all ground costs but not international flights)


MIDDLE SCHOOL CURRICULUM DESIGN // Boston, MA // July 20-22, 2020

Teachers and curriculum leaders will explore research around global competency and case studies of middle school classrooms where techniques have been implemented. Participants will engage in curriculum design workshops and leave with new curricular units designed to further individual school goals.
Audience: 5th-8th grade teachers and curriculum leaders, all disciplines welcome
Cost: $950 members, $1,200 non-members (housing not included)


COLLABORATIVE SCOUTING PROGRAM // Ghana, various locations // July 12-18, 2020

Join other schools to look at future student programs in Ghana that focus on history, identity, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), sustainable development and learn about current model practices in vetting and scouting for travel programs.
Audience: For global administrators or faculty travel-program leaders to scout possible future travel programs for their schools
Cost: $1,400, member schools only (includes all ground costs but not international flights)


LEADERSHIP FOR NEW GLOBAL DIRECTORS // Los Angeles, CA // July 27-29, 2020

Global education leaders will investigate models of program development and through facilitated design, work on a plan leveraging your institution's resources to build a high-quality and comprehensive global program.
Audience: Global Directors in years 1-5
Cost: $950 member schools, $1,200 non-members (housing not included)


CHANGE MANAGEMENT FOR GLOBAL ADMINISTRATORS // Los Angeles, CA // July 30-31, 2020

Participants leading the evolution of global education or other strategic initiatives will gain the insight and tools to effectively guide your stakeholders through change.
Audience: Global Directors and administrative leaders bringing growth, systems, and/or innovation to global programs/curriculum at their schools
Cost: $950 members, $1,200 non-members (housing not included)

What's the refund policy?

We offer partial refunds on a timeline up to 30 days out from the program start date. Here's how it breaks down:
60+ days out we will offer a 75% refund
30 - 60 days out we will offer a 25% refund
If it is within the 30 day window of the program start date we will likely not be able to offer any refunds due to expenses already incurred.
