2020 Dungeness Summer Science Camp

Dungeness Summer Science Camp – 6th – 8th grade

**Campers must be registered according the grade they WILL BE ENTERING in the FALL of 2020.**

August 4 – 7, 2020, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

This is the camp for kids who love natural history, science and adventure! South Slough staff meet campers at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in Charleston to start each day of exploration in the South Slough and Coos Bay estuaries.

$ 100 per camper

Minimum enrollment for camp is 6, and maximum enrollment is 10. A camper's space is confirmed when the camp forms and payment are received by the Friends of South Slough. Forms will be emailed or mailed out to campers shortly after reservation, but may be delayed depending on work circumstances for South Slough staff.

Camps offer hands-on activities with a focus on natural history and outdoor exploration. Campers bring their own lunch and a snack is provided by South Slough during the day. Camps are designed to fit the abilities and interests of campers according to the grade they will be entering in the Fall of 2020.

We are moving forward with summer camp registration, but we will evaluate the best plan for the summer of 2020 when the dates get closer, keeping the health and safety of campers and staff at the forefront of any decisions. Full refunds will be sent if camps cannot go forward as planned.
