February 16 UPDATE - WAIT LIST IN EFFECT! Friday spaces and two day registrations are SOLD OUT. Spaces are still available for Saturday. There will be no on-site registrations.

  • Name, address, and daytime phone number

The Autism Society of North Carolina’s annual conference is a two-day event featuring nationally and internationally recognized speakers and topics of interest to all members of the autism community.

The 2020 conference, Celebrating, Empowering, Preparing, kicks off our 50th anniversary celebration. It also reflects our commitment to sharing information and knowledge that helps individuals with autism, families and other caregivers, and a wide range of professionals.With a program that provides personal perspectives, knowledge from experts in the field, and topics that span the lifespan and spectrum attendees will learn practical ideas and strategies for use at home, at school, at work, and in the community.

Fees:

Early-bird prices are in effect through February 29 or while spaces are available. Click on the register button for price options. Fees include:

  • Continental breakfast, refreshments, and lunch
  • Access to sessions
  • Free download of the conference app, including digital handouts
  • Access to the Exhibit Hall featuring organizations, service providers, and vendors

Payment Options:

  • We accept credit cards, checks, ACH transfers, and purchase orders for school districts and government organizations.
  • If you need to be billed/invoiced (MCOs, school districts, and/or government or educational institutions) under "Checkout," click "Other Payment Options" then "Send Invoice." As part of the registration process you will be prompted and required to submit billing contact information.

Continuing education credit will be provided by Charlotte AHEC for a separate fee of $35 for a single day or $50 for both days. Charlotte AHEC will be providing the following continuing education credits for this conference:

  • Credit Hours - This Activity fulfills the requirement of 0.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), representing 6.0 contact hours per day.
  • NC Psychologists Credit – 6.0 Contact Hours (category A) CE for NC Psychologists per day
  • National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Clock Hours - The Charlotte Area Health Education Center and the Autism Society of North Carolina are cosponsors of this program. A co-sponsorship application has been sent to NBCC for approval. Charlotte Area Health Education Center is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5096. The ACEP solely is responsible for this program, including the awarding of NBCC credit.

Discounted hotel rooms:

The Hilton Charlotte University Place will offer discounted rooms at $105 per night for the nights of 3/26 - 3/29. To take advantage of this special rate, reserve your room here before March 6 (subject to availability). Rooms at the discounted rate are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Holiday Inn Charlotte University is a sister property and provides a free shuttle to the Hilton. In addition to the Holiday Inn, there are many other hotels near the Hilton.
