This year's virtual Color of Education Summit will feature 4 weekly events during the month of October.

About this Event

Tickets include access to all four sessions of the Color of Education Summit! Please note that links and information on how to access the events will be shared via email with registered attendees on the day of each session.   • Tuesday, October 13th, 4:00-6:00pm: The Impact of COVID-19 on Racial Equity in Education
  • Tuesday, October 20th, 4:00-6:00pm: Policing and Schools
  • Tuesday, October 27th, 4:00-6:00pm: Racial (In)Equity in North Carolina Schools: Where We've Been, Where We Are, and Where We Go From Here

Ticket Options

Note: Individual session tickets are not available. Ticket fees will be used to support the event costs, the future work of the Color of Education partnership, and the individuals+ organizations represented on our panels, all of which are dedicated to promoting racial equity in our schools.

  • Supporter Ticket ($60): Supporter tickets include 1 Standard ticket and donated Complimentary ticket for another attendee.
  • Standard Ticket ($30)
  • Complimentary Ticket ($0): Recognizing the challenging times we are in, we invite attendees for whom cost is a barrier to register for the Summit free of charge.

Color of Education is a partnership between the Public School Forum of NC and The Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University. Color of Education seeks to build deeper connections across the fields of research, policy, and practice and bring together communities, educators, policymakers, experts and other key stakeholders focused on developing action-oriented approaches for achieving racial equity in education across the state of North Carolina.
