2020 CDBG Application Workshop
The Application Workshop will provide you with valuable insight into developing a successful project and a competitive grant application. You will learn what kinds of projects and activities are eligible for CDBG funding, as we discuss how to design projects involving infrastructure, community facilities, demolition, neighborhood revitalization and other activities. You will learn what makes a good project, as well as basic requirements of the CDBG program. We will explain how the application process works and provide everything you need to know including maximum CDBG grant amounts, deadlines for application submission, and requirements for citizen participation.
We welcome officials and staff from local governments, consultants, councils of government and others interested in working with local governments to seek CDBG funding.
The event is held at 1201 Main Street, 3rd Floor Conference Room, Columbia, SC 29201. Parking is avaliable in the attached Lady Street Garage
