Description

The Autism Society of Alabama and the University of South Alabama Regional Autism Network would like to invite you to the 2020 Autism Matters Conference which will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 in Orange Beach, Alabama. With an attendance of over 250 attendees, this is the only conference of its kind in the south Alabama region. Caregivers, professionals and advocates come from across the state of Alabama as well as coastal Mississippi and the panhandle of Florida to attend. This year, we are excited to announce that our Keynote speaker will be Dr. Kerry Magro, an award-winning speaker, author and self-advocate.

Social Workers- Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners has approved: 4.75 hours

Counselors- 2020 Autism Matters Conference has been approved by NBCC for NBCC credit. Sessions approved for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Autism Society of Alabama is solely responsible for all aspects of the program; NBCC Approval No. SP-3448

Speech-Language Pathologists- Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology has approved: 2.5 hours- Content Area I 2.25 hours- Content Area II (Only 2 hours of CE will be allowed from Content Area II)

*Certificates of Attendance will be provided at the end of the day for all participants
