2020 Annual Arizona International Educators State Meeting

About this Event

Description

The 2020 annual meeting of the Arizona International Educators will be held at the University of Arizona in Tucson. The event will take place at the newly built Environment and Natural Resources 2 Building II (ENR2).

Our theme this year is "Global Growth - Arizona Educators Unite."

We will feature innovative international educators and provide sessions to help all international educators with their needs in these changing times.

Evening Networking Reception - Friday, March 6, 2020 (Immediately following the State Meeting) This event will take place at the rooftop patio on the top floor of the ENR2 building. Enjoy refreshments and take in the beautiful sunset views of downtown Tucson, UA campus, and the Catalina Foothills, as you network with your peers!

Registration for the AIE State Meeting

Online advanced registration is $55 and may be paid via credit card, debit card or check. Fees cover the cost of food, beverages, etc. DEADLINE TO REGISTER ONLINE for the advanced price of $55 is 10:00 AM on Friday, February 28, 2020 (If registering online and paying by check, please mail the check to: Arizona International Educators, P.O. Box 5951, Peoria, AZ 85385). Registration made online after 10 am on February 28, 2020 or onsite registration will be $55 plus a $5 administrative fee and may be paid in person with cash (exact amount) or cashier's check, money order or business check or online with a credit card or debit card. Reduced-Rate Student Fee: Students who are currently enrolled full-time in academic programs at your institution qualify for the reduced-rate student fee. Online registration for students is $25 (onsite registration for students will be $25 plus a $5 administrative fee). Note: This reduced fee is not intended for those who are pursuing academic programs (i.e, master’s degrees, doctoral programs, certificate programs, etc.) at other institutions while they are working full-time at their places of employment.

Menu - Lunch

There will be a Street Tacos Buffet available for lunch. Vegetarian/Vegas options will be available.

A light breakfast will be provided that will include coffee and water.

Important Reminders

Bring Business Cards for Networking - Do remember to bring your business cards to the AIE State Meeting so you can effectively network with others attending!

Bring Raffle Items from Your Institution/Organization - Please be sure to bring items for the infamous raffle. It can be t-shirts, mugs, blankets, or any swag identifying your school. Or be creative and bring what you wish!

AIE will be providing locality appropriate gift baskets as part of the raffle.

Parking

If possible, please carpool! Thanks to our lovely hosts at the UofA, parking will be validated for this event, free of charge. However, the garage cannot be reserved just for our event, so parking will be limited. Please park at the Sixth Street Garage, which is conveniently located directly next to the ENR2 building (building 137 in the map below).
