Description

The Charlottesville Women in Data Science Conference, hosted by the UVA Data Science Institute in collaboration with the Global WiDS Conference, brings together the regional data science community to celebrate, support, and educate women in data science. This year's conference will be held Mar. 29.

All genders are invited to participate in the conference, which features exclusively female speakers.

The 2019 Women in Data Science Charlottesville Conference will feature morning and afternoon keynote presentations by two incredible women working in data science: Rama Akkiraju (Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor, IBM Watson) and Meredith Broussard (Data Journalist and Author). The conference will also feature a panel discussion with women founders and excutives, research highlights and skills sessions.

We will be opening registration for our skills sessions to all registerants for WiDS Charlottesville closer to the conference date, please be on the lookout for emails with futher instructions.
