Be Part of the Soil Mosaic! Bring your soil with a story to be part of the world map of soil. Be represented by your soil and become part of the soil mosaic of the world!
Bring your soil & get your soil tested for heavy metals for free! Donations always welcome!:)
NYC Urban Soils Institute, National Park Service, and RUDN University, are hosting the City’s 1st ever Urban Soils Art and Harvest Festival! It will be held in NYC’s very own National Park: Gateway National Park at Ecology Village in Floyd Bennett Field.
The Festival will have artists, scientists, urban farmers, educators, landscape architects, architects, practitioners from diverse sectors. They show their work, what they’re exploring, with interactive demos or activities.
Come with friends, family, colleagues, and join us for workshops, art-science exhibits, food, music, harvest festival with local urban farms, and games. Experience the world of soils in our city and how they secretly support our city and daily lives.
