FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

If you are attending the conference with friends or classmates, we encourage carpooling or using public transportation. Parking is available near the venue. We also have transportation scholarships available on a first-come first-serve basis. If the cost of transportation is a barrier to your attendance, email us with the subject line 'Travel Scholarship Request' + your name: teenwellnessconf@gmail.com

What can I bring into the event?

Just bring yourself! Everything that you need will be provided.

What is the schedule of the event?

9:30-10am Attendees Arrive

10-10:50am Icebreaker + Youth Speakers

11am-12pm Breakout Sessions

12:10-1pm Lunch + Resource Tables Exploration

1:10-2pm Student-Led Panel Discussions

2-2:30pm Activation + Wrap-Up

Will I be able to choose my breakout session preferences?

Yes! We will have two tracks of breakout sessions: one geared toward middle school attendees and the other geared toward high school/ college attendees.

What topics will be covered in the breakout sessions?

On the day of the conference, you will be able to choose exactly which session you want to attend. The general themes include:

Can I be a volunteer at the conference?

Can anyone outside the age range of 12-25 attend the conference?

You must be within the age range of 12-25 in order to attend, as all conference activities are designed for this range. If you have any questions regarding this, please email us: teenwellnessconf@gmail.com

*If you are 18-25 years of age, by attending this event, you give the Teen Wellness Conference (TWC) permission to use your image in photo/video footage captured on the day, for promotional and marketing purposes. Given this, we respect the safe space created by the TWC, and your privacy is most important to us. If you are under 18 years of age (12-18), we will be sending you an e-waiver to fill out.
