The Foodie Experience featuring Whiskies of the World (WOW) will be held on Friday, June 7th at Dallas Market Hall! This exclusive, all-inclusive culinary event is the kickoff to Taste of Dallas and highlights the very best food and drinks that Dallas has to offer. 

 Attendees will be able to sip and sample from over 40 of the best chefs and restaurants in town along with spirits, wine, and craft beer sampling. New attraction for 2019.... Whiskies of the World – showcasing distillers from around the world to share their finest spirits and knowledge with whisky enthusiasts. This attraction benefits Helping A Hero and allows attendees to discover The Art of Whisky in the company of connoisseurs and whisky ambassadors.

  • Hundreds of whiskies to sample (Scotch, Bourbon, American Craft, Malts, Grains, World, Blends)

In addition to the great food, drink, and whisky, there will be dozens of engaging and interactive sponsor and exhibitor activations and a Artist Gallery. Upgrade to VIP and get early access to the event at 6:30pm before general admission along with exclusive access to the DFW Acura Dealers VIP Lounge where there will be special restaurants and premium whisky pairings.

What do I get?

Attendees will be able to sip and sample from over 40 of the best chefs and restaurants in town along with spirits, wine, and craft beer sampling. Access to Whiskies of the World – showcasing distillers from around the world to share their finest spirits and knowledge with whisky enthusiasts. In addition to the great food, drink, and whisky, there will be dozens of engaging and interactive sponsor activations as well an Artist Gallery.

Can I bring my child?

Please make arrangements for all children prior to attending the event. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted entrance to the event. This include infants. Anyone with a child will not be admitted, no exceptions.

I can't find my emailed tickets, where are they?

Your tickets are generally delivered shortly after purchase to the email address you provide. If you didn't receive them, it may have been a typo of your email address during your purchase. If it's been more than a few hours and you can't find them, contact Eventbrite via email at support@eventbrite.com and request a re-sent ticket confirmation, OR view the Eventbrite Help Center article Where are my Tickets? for additional steps.

What are the advantages of purchasing VIP tickets?

VIP patrons gain access to the event 30 minutes prior to general admission attendees and we pre-scan all VIP tickets so that they can take advantage of as much of the extra time as possible. In addition, VIP ticketholders gain access to the exclusive DFW Acura Dealers VIP Lounge featuring special chefs/restaurants and premium whiskies pairings.

What items are not allowed in the event?
  • Weapons (knives, pepper spray, any concealed weapons or firearms, etc.)
  • Illegal drugs, chemicals, fireworks
  • Backpacks, suitcases, coolers, or other large bags
  • Unapproved marketing material of any kind (pamphlets, handouts, advertisements)
  • All bags are subject to search upon entry to the event. Security reserves the right to request patrons to return prohibited items to their vehicle, or dispose of these items; non-cooperation may lead to ejection from the facility.
Can I bring my dog or pet?

Sorry, no animals are allowed at The Foodie Experience.


Photography and Marketing Policy

We encourage you to take still photographs at the event! In fact, we hope after the event that you will post some photos to our Facebook page and tag us. Video recording equipment will require media credentials and requires pre-approval by event staff.

Intoxicated Patrons

All event attendees are expected to drink responsibly. Any guest who is believed to be intoxicated when entering the event will be denied entry, and a refund for your admission will not be provided. We will have plenty to go around, so please don't pre-party!

Any attendee who is found intoxicated or causing general disturbance will be asked to leave the facility without a refund.

Refund Policy

Attendees can receive refunds up to 30 days before event start date. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets and do not issue refunds once tickets are purchased. If the event gets canceled, you more than likely won't need to do a thing: provided you entered a valid email address, we will inform you of the cancellation by email, and refund the amount you paid for your tickets on the same payment method used for purchase. If you did not provide a valid email address upon checkout, it is your responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue.

By accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Entry to The Foodie Experience is solely at the discretion of security and/or the Event Organizers at the time of the event. No persons under the age of 21 will be permitted entry to the festival. We may conduct security searches upon entry at our discretion to ensure the safety of all festival goers.

The Foodie Experience and/or Taste of Dallas LLC cannot accept responsibility or liability for any personal property or belongings that is lost, stolen or damaged, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for any personal injury, accident or illness. Ticket holders or attendees of the event consent to being filmed, photographed, and recorded as members of the audience. The resulting film footage, images and recordings may be used to promote The Foodie Experience in print, various forms of media, and on websites. You consent that the footage remains our property and we may use it in conjunction with promotion of our event however we choose. The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, laws, safety announcements, and regulations while attending the event. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behavior likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable The Foodie Experience, its security personnel, volunteers, staff, Dallas Market Center staff, or festival organizers to eject the ticket holder from the festival site without a refund. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions will be posted in the FAQ section of our website.

Shipping Policy

All tickets will be delivered electronically via e-mail. It is the responsibility of the buyer to print tickets out prior to arrival at the festival and present tickets at the gate for entry. Lost tickets can be re-printed via the EventBrite website.

If you choose not to print out your ticket, smartphones capable of opening PDF documents can open the original email that is sent to you at the time of purchase, and we can scan your barcode via your phone.

Smartphone users also have the option to download the EventBrite application to pull up your tickets for scanning at the door.
