Description

The IQhub is pleased to announce our 2nd year offering summer day camp programs.

Students have the opportunity to learn hands-on about agriculture and the environment, as well as some things about aviation, thanks to our guest exhibit.

Camp Details:

  • Day Camps are first come first serve, with 30 openings available.
  • The target range for students is ages 8-11 or current 2nd – 5th graders.
  • Registration fee is $25 per student, for one day or $40 per student, for two days (non-refundable).
  • Camps starts at 8:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm. (Please call if an earlier drop off time is needed.)
  • Each student receives a camp T-shirt, rocket kit, lunch and transportation to the last session.
  • Students are to dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for some walking, as they will be outdoors a couple hours.

11:00 am – 11:45 Lunch & Travel to Research Farm using Clinton Transit

11:45 am – 12:30 Session #2: The Incredible Edible Egg

12:30 pm – 1:00 Poultry Tour & Tips on Raising Birds

1:00 pm – 1:30 Feather Painting

1:30 pm – 2:00 Snack & Egg Toss Tournament


Thursday, June 20th

12:30 pm – 1:00 Compass & Pacing Activity

1:00 pm – 1:30 Leaf Coloring

1:30 pm – 2:00 Snack & Scavenger Hunt

** Lunch will be from Subway; if a special meal is required, please pack a lunch for your student **


Camp Transportation:

  • Drop students each morning at the IQhub, located within AgroLiquid, 1130 S. Dewitt Rd., St. Johns. They will remain at the IQhub until after lunch.
  • After lunch, Clinton Transit (blue bus) will transport student to another learning location. Parents will need to fill out the Clinton Area Transit Youth Ride Registration Form giving permission for the students to ride the bus.
  • Pick up on Tuesday, June 18th or Monday, July 15th will be at the North Central Research Station located at 5605 Findlay Rd., St. Johns.
  • Pickup on Thursday, June 20th or Wednesday, July 17th will be at the St. Johns City Park located at 805 W. Park St., St. Johns.

Camp Registration: Payment and all forms due by June 7th for June dates

  1. Select the correct online registration link below, based on the day(s) the student will be attending.

  2. Download the Medical Release Form and the Clinton Area Transit Permission Slip, from the initial event registration page. Fill out the needed information and send it back to the IQhub.

  3. Cost is $25 per student, for one day or $40 per student, for two days (non-refundable). Pay by credit/debit card, during online registration or make a check payable to IQhub.



Each student will need to have a Photo Release Form, Medical Release Form and a Clinton Transit Permission Slip on file.
