Event Details

Only 50 spots available for this very popular camp. Led by coaches Brian Justine and Ray White, this camp features baseball instruction at the IMS baseball field in Abacoa and multiple visits only steps away to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium to watch spring training and to have a meet and greet with a Miami Marlins player. The camp will also make visits to Golden Bear mini-golf and Bahama Bucks sno-cones during the week!  Here are the spring training games the camp will watch:

Tuesday, March 19th: New York Mets vs. Miami Marlins

Friday, March 22: Washington Nationals vs. Miami Marlins

Tommy Hutton camps and training programs have established a reputation of excellence. Founded in 2000, the THBA offers a variety of top-notch programs for boys and girls ages 5-14. Camp & Training Program groupings are assembled based primarily on skill level to ensure every athlete remains challenged and engaged.

Focusing on developing and honing fundamental skills, students work with professional instructors and professional guests for hands on experience. The topics covered include training on hitting, throwing, pitching, athletic performance and defensive skills.

Are minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Camps are open to boys' and girls' 5-14.

 

Where is the spring break camp held?

Independence Middle School in Abacoa, just steps away from Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium where we will also hold numerous camp activities throughout the week!

 

What do I need for camp?

For spring camp, every participant is required to bring a lunch and their own glove. It is recommended that every camp participant bring a helmet and bat and dress in comfortable, athletic attire. Shorts, t-shirt and a hat are appropriate for this camp. On days we travel to Roger Dean, it is recommended that each participant brings $10-20 per day for a refreshment/snack at the stadium's concession stand.

What's the refund policy?

We do not provide refunds for any reason. We do offer a credit to attend a future camp in the event of a late schedule change.

Brian Justine is a native of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He is the founder of the Tommy Hutton Baseball Academy. Justine holds a BS in Sports Management from Florida International University and a MS in Education Administration from Manhattan College. Justine is played four seasons of college baseball and two seasons of minor league ball. He is the first player in Dwyer HS history to be selected in MLB amatuer draft. He has coached at almost every level of baseball including stops at Manhattan College and Palm Beach Atlantic University.
