Description

The biennial Southeast Iowa Regional Job Fair is an EXCELLENT place for employers of all industries to meet with dozens of candidates under one roof, conduct initital screenings of talent, have conversations with real people rather than resumes, promote their companies in a positive light and network with other professionals.


As an Employer what should I bring to the event?

  • An eye-catching booth may be what you need to stand out and attract potential candidates. Aside from having your business cards on hand, it is a good idea to provide some kind of promotional material to help attendees become more familiar with your company and corporate culture. This may be a one-page handout, brochure or something more creative to get the word out.

  • Sometimes you need a little something “extra” to attract attendees to your booth and get them engaged with your recruiters. While you can’t rely on giveaways to bring in the most qualified candidates, it may create a buzz around your booth that is needed to start a conversation with the ones who are.

FAQ

Will there be Wi-Fi available for use during the job fair?

  • Yes, Wi-Fi will be available during the job fair. You will be provided with the required login information the day of the event.

Will my table have access to electricity?

  • There are a limited number of electrical outlets available. Tickets are available for those registrants who require electricity.

Can I bring my own table cover?

  • A table cover will be included as part of the registration fee, however, you may bring your own table cover if preferred.

What time can employers begin setting up their table day of the job fair?

  • Employers can arrive any time after 11:00 a.m. to begin setting up their table for the job fair.

Will there be space available if our company would like to conduct a formal interview at the event?

  • Yes, there will be rooms available to conduct interviews away from the main event staging area.
