Description

The School of Education and the Center for Disabilities, USD, are excited to partner in offering the 2019 Educators' Conference - Unlocking the Resilient Classroom. The Conference, held July 15-19, is geared to all K-12 educators, special education professionals, school administrators, counselors, paraprofessionals and others. Attendees will come together to network and learn new strategies to better support their students.

Morning sessions will have an intense focus on one of the following 5 core topic areas:

-Trauma/ACES (Monday)

-Social & Emotional Learning (Tuesday)

-Health/Addictions (Wednesday)

-Poverty (Thursday)

-Child Maltreatment (Friday)

Afternoon sessions will complement and enhance the morning core topic areas.

Flexible registration options are available for attendees to choose the areas they'd like to focus their learning.

Graduate credits will be available pending SDBOR approval.

*Registration and payment are required prior to the event. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
