Event description

Description

This daylong event will examine pressing issues key to the Santa Ana River watershed that spans parts of Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Participants will hear about the importance of the Santa Ana River Watershed and how, through powerful partnerships and integrated planning, the region is finding resilient solutions to improve the quality and reliability of the local water supply for all in the watershed.

The conference will feature topics key to the watershed such as the One Water One Watershed (OWOW) Plan Update 2018, the California Water Plan Update 2018, habitat plans, conservation and conjunctive use programs, and efforts to engage disadvantaged communities in water decisions.

The event is convened by the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA) and supported in part by SAWPA's member agencies and coordinated by the Water Education Foundation.
