Pioneer Works proudly presents the fifth annual Red Hook Regatta—a community event where hundreds of spectators gather on Valentino Pier to watch homemade boats navigate the rough seas of New York City’s shipping harbor. This event will feature free catered food and half time entertainment including DJ sets by Red Hook Record Shop owner Bene Coopersmith, a dance performance by Cora Dance, and activations by Pioneer Works artists and staff.

The Regatta is produced in partnership with youth and staff from Red Hook Community Justice Center and Red Hook Initiative who also participated in our 8-week 3D Printed Boat Program. 

In case of inclement weather, the Regatta will be held on Saturday, August 31.
