Event description
2019 Public-Private Analytic Exchange Program Concluding Summit

About this Event

Come join the Department of Homeland Security’s Public-Private Analytic Exchange Program (AEP) on October 17 for its 8th annual Concluding Summit. The program facilitates partnerships between public and private sector analysts to collaborate on key intelligence priorities that explore current and emerging issues which affect the public and private sector as it relates to U.S. national security.

Over the past 6 months, 10 teams have worked together to research several topic areas. Each of the teams have produced a deliverable on their findings which will be presented at the Concluding Summit. The 2019 AEP Concluding Summit will be a great opportunity to hear from these groups on their accomplishments over the past months. The areas of focus for the 2019 program year were:

• Best Practices in Vetting Prospective and Current Employees

• Combatting Targeted Disinformation Campaigns

• Counterterrorism Futures

• E-Commerce: Illicit Actors’ Use of Reshipping Services

• Geopolitical Impact on Cyber Threats from Nation-State Actors

• Identifying Cyber Risks to Vehicle Technology Advancements

• Industrial Internet of Things Interconnections

• Strategies to Address Physical Supply Chain Risks

• Artificial Intelligence

• Vulnerabilities of Healthcare IT Systems
