Description

Join NPCA and the National Park Service on Saturday April 6, 2019 for the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup. Park volunteers help keep our area of the Potomac River watershed clean.

*Pre-registration is required*

The Potomac River Watershed Cleanup is the largest project of its kind in the region, and is currently recruiting more residents to come out and get involved in making their neighborhoods a place of clean land and safe water.

Wear clothes that can get dirty and sturdy boots. Gloves and bags will be supplied. All ages are welcome, but everyone must register and anyone under 18 must be joined by an adult.

Greenbelt Park’s 1,100 acres provides camping, picnicking, bicycling and hiking for thousands of visitors each year. This wooded park also provides important green space for red fox, deer, and other native wildlife.

Questions about the event? More information is available at Greenbelt Park’s website www.nps.gov/gree or by calling 301-344-3944.
