Description

This year’s PHX2Zero film series features Waste Land.

Filmed over nearly three years, Waste Land follows renowned artist, Vik Muniz, as he travels from Brooklyn to one of the world’s largest landfills located on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Follow his journey as he attempts to turn their trash into art.

The film series is free and open to the public.

Zero waste event

This is a zero waste event, so please bring a reusable bottle and reusable utensils.

Travel

There is limited parking at FilmBar. However, public transit is highly encouraged. The Roosevelt and Central Avenue light rail stop is a 6-minute walk from FilmBar.
