THE KIDS KORNER HAS PLENTY OF SEATS LEFT - NO REGISTRATION NEEDED (10 AM - noon for kids 4-9; 1-3:30 PM for teens/tweens 10-17). To reserve seats for a group of 4 or more, please email us at writingandbookfest@gmail.com.

The "MEET THE AUTHORS" VENDOR TABLES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, WITHOUT ANY REGISTRATION NEEDED, from 9:30 - 5:00. Stop by to meet more than 18 exciting authors from Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and California! They will sign any books you purchase, which make unique gifts.

The 2019 Pensacola Writing & Book Festival will be held from 9AM - 5 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in downtown Pensacola. This exciting event is presented by the two primary literary and writing associations in Pensacola, the West Florida Literary federation and the Gulf Coast Authors collective.

Registration is from 9:00 - 9:45 and the first presentation begins at 9:45, continuing (with breaks and an optional lunch that may be purchased) until 4:30 when FREE door prizes,FREE books signed by the authors and other gifts will be given away in a BONANZA DOOR PRIZE DRAWING (must be present to win, but this event is so much fun you will want to spend the entire day here!).

This FREE event is open to the public and features writing presentations and panels for the entire family: adults, military veterans, seniors, teens, tweens and children.

Learn tips from 10 published authors on how to start writing, edit and publish your novel, pitch an agent or publisher, copyright and protect your written work, and write thrillers, memoirs, biographies, romance, inspirational, commercial fiction; learn to write funny; and more.

OPENING KEYNOTE SPEAKER (PHOTO) is LENORA WORTH, New York Times ,USA Today and Publishers Weekly Best-selling author and 2019 RITA© Finalist, who has written 80+ books and has over 3 million copies of her books in print.

The KIDS KORNER features 2 hours of storytelling, reading and puppet time for kids aged 4-9.

TEENS/TWEENS, EXPAND YOUR IMAGINATION in special Dragon Fantasy writing and illustration sessions led by The Dragon Master Series author Vicki Shankwitz and her illustrator Robert Shankwitz III, with an authentic Chinese Dragon for inspiration.
