Description

The Ohio Prescribed Fire Council is offering its fourth Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 at the Ohio Fire Academy in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. We are bringing together professionals, resource managers, researchers, landowners, and interested public involved with prescribed fire. This is an opportunity to network with others conducting prescribed fire and learn more about the values of using prescribed fire to manage natural habitats in Ohio. A variety of 11 speakers will cover topics regarding grassland birds, box turtles, bats, grant opportunities, wildfire response, update on Ohio fire regulations, and update of OPFC activities.

Registration is $25 and includes a box lunch, morning refreshments, and handout materials. When registering, each attendee may choose from 3 sandwiches or a salad, plus the box lunch includes water, fruit, chips, pasta salad, and a cookie.

Sponsorships of $100 include one registration, lunch, and materials; sponsorships of $250 include two registrations, lunch, and materials.
