Event description

Join us for the 2019 Northeast Indiana Local Food Forum!

All are welcome! Connect with local farmers, food producers, chefs, community leaders, dietitians, healthy food and sustainability advocates and local consumers, as we come together to learn, share ideas and grow our local food community.

Come for the whole day or join the party after work!

Local Food Forum programming - 8:30am - 3pm. Forum attendees will listen to inspiring speakers and choose from 8 different breakout sessions for opportunities to learn from and interact with local experts. Lightning Talks will share information about opportunities to collaborate, and attendees can talk with Forum Exhibitors. A delicious lunch made with locally-sourced ingredients is included.

Local Food Social Hour - 3pm - 5pm. Forum attendees and guests arriving in the late afternoon are encouraged to network and mingle while they enjoy light local refreshments hosted by the Northeast Indiana Local Food Network.

Local Food After Party will kick-off at 5pm and run until 7pm. Join MC Greg Gunthorp as we toast our local scene. Guests can meet their favorite chefs, bakers, producers, brewers, winemakers and distillers and enjoy samples of their latest local food products and creations. Interactive demos by local chefs and butchers and live music will make this celebration a not-to-be-missed event.

Help support our Local Food Producers!

We're contributing $5.00 from EACH paid Forum Registration to help establish the Northeast Indiana Local Food Producer Scholarship Fund. We want to help our region’s local food producers get the training and networking opportunities they need to produce more local food. Details regarding this fund will be announced at the Local Food Forum.
