How can we collectively support the advancement of our nation's families?

How can Family Support and Strengthening Networks be effective vehicles for doing so?

How can your work connect with, leverage, and support Family Support and Strengthening Programs and Networks?



Join with the National Family Support Network, Casey Family Programs, and colleagues from across the country working at the systems and policy levels for this unique for this unique opportunity to learn about and connect with Family Support and Strengthening Networks nationwide - all in one place. These 29 state Networks are comprised of more than 3,000 Family Support and Strengthening organizations, such as Family Resource Centers, working with families across the great geographical and demographic diversity of the United States.

These Family Support and Strengthening organizations work with families across the country in a multi-generational, strengths-based, family-centered approach to enhance parenting skills, foster the healthy development and well-being of children, youth, and families, prevent child abuse, increase school readiness, connect families to resources, develop parent and community leadership, engage males and fathers, support healthy marital and couples relationships, and promote family economic success.


The Forum will build on the Advancing the Family Support and Strengthening Field Project and focus attention on the need to support families to thrive in every state.

Who Should Participate?

Key stakeholders working at the systems and policy levels such as national, state, and local policymakers, public departments, Children's Trust Fund staff, private funders, Family Support and Strengthening Network leaders and representatives, and national nonprofit organizations (up to 4 participants per organization). POST-FORUM TRAINING: Friday, 5/10

Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Certification Training, 8:00am-5:00pm

For those not yet trained on the Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support, this a great opportunity to be certified on the Standards adopted by our national network to be able to share this common language with other Members. The training details how the 9 Principles of Family Support and the Strengthening Families Framework, with its evidence-informed 5 Protective Factors, can be applied together to enhance work with families. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate valid for two years.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel more than 5 days before the event, you will be refunded your registration fee less a $10 cancellation fee. If you cancel 0-5 days before the training date, no refund will be given.

The NFSN has negotiated a special group rate for a limited number of rooms at a hotel near the venue:
