Description

The NASC Executive Committee is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2019 NASC conference. The 2019 Conference is hosted by the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission and will be held in Alexandria, Virginia.

The early bird registration fee is $300 and applies to registrations submitted through June 29th. As of June 30th, the registration fee will increase to $350.

The Conference will run from Monday August 5th to Wednesday, August 7th.

FAQs

How should I make my hotel reservations?

The 2019 NASC conference is being held at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town. The Conference rate is $180 per night for reservations made by July 12th. Call 703.837.0440 for reservations and mention NASC or use this link to reserve a room.

How should I get to the hotel?

Alexandria’s four Metrorail stations will be closed for renovation during the summer of 2019, from May 25 through September 8, 2019. You can download this printable flyer that contains all this information. For more information on the Metro Platform Improvement Program, visit the WMATA website and sign up for MetroAlerts for the most up-to-date information. Be sure to also check the City of Alexandria’s page here for updates and more information.

You can take the free shuttles connecting you to and from Alexandria to the Reagan National Airport. Use the Blue Line Shuttle (stops at the intersection of King Street and Washington, and the King Street Metro Station and National Airport Metro Station). Or catch one of the following free shuttles from Alexandria’s stations to other nearby stations. From there, you will be able to continue your journey on Metro throughout the D.C. region. What NASC activities are occurring on Monday, August 5th?

Everything kicks off on Monday, August 5th at 2:00 with a plenary session at the hotel followed by a reception.

What time does the conference end on Wednesday, August 7th?

The conference officially concludes at noon on Wednesday.

Can my organization pay for NASC registration by check or purchase order?
