About Mayfield Surgical Innovation Center

Mayfield Surgical Innovation Center is conveniently located off I-71 in the Cornerstone at Norwood development.

Mayfield Brain & Spine unveiled the Mayfield Surgical Innovation Center, a state-of-the-art training facility for spine and cranial surgery technology and minimally invasive procedures in March of 2017. The center, housed on the second floor of Mayfield’s ambulatory Spine Surgery Center in Norwood, is already attracting neurosurgeons and technology companies from around the United States. The facility includes six training stations and a full laboratory.

The Innovation Center’s launch coincided with the 10th anniversary of the Mayfield Spine Surgery Center, a partnership of Mayfield and United Surgical Partners International (USPI). Mayfield and USPI purchased The Christ Hospital’s share of the center in 2016 for an undisclosed price.

More than 12,000 surgeries and 21,000 procedures have been performed at the center since its opening, and it boasts a patient satisfaction rate of 95 percent.
