Join us for our Historic Walking Tour of College Hills area of Mānoa. This tour will include entrance into historic homes along a 2-mile route of 60 homes built in the '20s and '30s.

Walk Day Details
Check-in and walk start at Kamanele Park (at University Ave and Ka‘ala St). Check-in closes at 10:30 a.m. Limited parking will be available at MidPac School. Carpooling is encouraged.

The full tour is approximately 2 miles. At check-in, you will receive a booklet containing a map and description of the homes. The tour is self-guided. Houses will close at 12 noon.

Please note this tour includes uneven surfaces and stairs. Private homes may not be accessible to all. Walking Tour will take place rain or shine! Walkers are asked to to bring water, an umbrella, wear comfortable shoes, and bring a bag to carry your shoes as you walk through the homes.

Tickets will not be mailed. Pick up packets at check-in table the morning of the walk. Each participant will be asked to sign a brief liability waiver.

After purchasing tickets here you will receive an email containing walk day information and the waiver. Please bring your signed waiver for each attendee to expedite the check in process. (We'll have some, too, if you forget!)

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

What can I bring to the event?

Ths self-guided route is approximately 2 miles long and will occur rain or shine. Please bring water, an umbrella, wear comfortable shoes, and bring a bag to carry your shoes as you walk through the homes.

Every participant must complete and turn in a waiver form signed by themselves or their guardian if under 18. The waivers will be included in your confirmation email. We will also have waivers at the check-in tent.

What's the refund policy?

No refunds for any reason. If you are unable to attend the event, you can transfer your tickets to another attendee.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Before you may start the tour, we will need proof of confirmation and a signed waiver from evert participant. You have two options. You can print them and present both at the check-in tent, or you can email the waiver and show a digital copy of the confirmation at the check-in tent. The waiver will be included in your confirmation email sent on completion of your registration. Signed waivers can be emailed to MalamaManoa12@gmail.com. Please be sure the printed name is legible so we can match registrants to waivers.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. If you need to change names, transfer your registration, update contact information, or make any other changes to your registration, please email MalamaManoa12@gmail.com.

Can I register and pay the day of the event?

This is a popular event - we highly encourage registering in advance. For those who wait until June 15th, expect long lines to register and pay. You are encouraged to bring cash (exact change) or a check to pay for your tickets, as credit card processing creates longer delays.
