The Arizona Coalition for Victim Services is excited to present the Leadership in Victim Services training.


During this one-day training you will learn:

  • To identify your management style and how to effectively apply it to those you work with
  • How to create a more trauma-informed culture
  • How to work together solving conflicts on real world scenarios that you provide
  • Tips from a panel of experienced managers

This training is highly interactive which will allow you to apply the skills you learn and connect with other leaders in your field.

This training is available to current supervisors as well as those considering a management position in the future.

Registration includes a continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and training materials.   



Paying By Check

If you are paying by check, click "Show Other Payment Options" under the "Registration" button.  You may then register and pay later.  Checks can be sent to: ACVS P.O. Hotel Information

There is no contracted hotel rate for this training. 

The Hilton Homewood Suites at 4750 E. Cotton Center Blvd is the closest to the training site.  You can contact them at 602-470-2100 for reservations.


 

 



FAQs

Is my registration transferrable?


You may transfer a registration to someone else but it must be done BEFORE June 10, 2019. To change a name on a registration, contact Connie Chapman at avaaacademy@gmail.com.


Can I update my registration information?


To update any registration information, please e-mail Connie Chapman at avaaacademy@gmail.com by June 10, 2019


What is the refund policy?


All requests for refunds must be submitted by June 1, 2019.  

 






Continuing Education Hours

You may be able to earn continuing educational credits from the following agencies:

  • National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA). 

        https://www.trynova.org/credentialing/

Other organizations such as AZPost may offer CEU's.  Please check ahead before registering to make sure they will offer it for this training.
