Join us for the 2019 KSAND Foundation Fundraising & Poverty Panel Discussion.

"Dietitian's Role at the Intersection of Hunger and Health: A panel discussion about food insecurity, public health, and diet-related disease."

Join us to hear stories and successes from some of the most influential people in Kansas doing work to improve food security.

Electronic check-in will begin at 6:15 pm at the Sherwood Portico (East) Entrance of the KSU Alumni Center. Here, attendees will receive two complimentary beverage tickets and will have an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets. All registration and raffle ticket sales will go directly to the KSAND Foundation.

The Foundation supports the mission of KSAND by funding scholarships for the dietetics profession, providing nutrition education for the community and recognizing dietetic practitioners for their outstanding contributions.

Draft Agenda:

6:30pm - Welcome, hors d'oeuvres and bar open (2 complimentary beverage tickets)

7:00 pm - Poverty Panel Discussion

8:00 pm - Closing remarks, raffle drawing, open networking

8:30 pm- End

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Attendees must be 21 or over to receive beverage tickets - Photo ID required.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

For those attendees with hotel reservations at the Holiday Inn, please park in the hotel parking lot and walk across the street to the KSU Alumni Center, north of the hotel. For those without hotel accommodations, there are several free parking stalls around the KSU Alumni Center (E1 or E16) or you may park at the K-State campus lots without a permit after 5 pm. The nearest campus parking is northeast of the KSU Alumni Center off Denison Avenue (D1). Another option is to park in the garage east of the Alumni Center, but you will be responsible for any parking fees on Thursday, April 11th. What is the refund policy?

Fees are non-refundable. All proceeds from the event, including registration and raffle ticket sales, will go directly to the KSAND Foundation.
