The Conference

This year's conference will be a joint event between ITS Maryland and the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board and we anticipate well over 200 attendees - help us get to 300! Be sure to sign up now to reserve your spot at this exciting event where our speakers, vendors and panelists will highlight topics related to our conference theme: Smart Mobility: Moving Safely, Moving Ahead.

The technical conference and exhibits will be held Wednesday, October 16th at the Maritime Conference Center in Linthicum Heights, MD. Registration for the Technical Conference & Exhibit includes admission to the technical sessions and exhibits, continental breakfast, all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, afternoon break, and happy hour.

Please note that Early Registration prices end September 23, 2019 and Late Registration prices will begin September 24, 2019.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone involved in transportation! The challenges lie in the diversity of the technology, which is highly interdisciplinary, ranging from physics to psychology. The ITS field includes a wide variety of professionals including web developers; information processing; vehicle manufacturers; trucking and delivery companies; transportation planners; researchers; engineers, communications, control, and electronics.

The 2019 Joint ITSMD/BRTB Annual Conference is a venue for professionals involved in planning, design, research, and implementation of Traffic Signals and Intelligent Transportation Systems to gather together for training, discussion, and networking.

How Many Professional Development Hours (PDHs) May I Earn?

Up to six (6) Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be awarded for attending the entire duration of the conference technical sessions which run from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM. Partial PDHs will be awarded for each contact hour attended.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is free parking at the Maritime Conference Center. See http://ccmit.org/directions for directions. The conference center offers a free shuttle service to/from the Baltimore - Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport and the North Linthicum Light Rail Station. Upon arrival at these locations, contact the conference center front desk staff at (410) 859-5700, extension "0," to make transportation arrangements.

How do I reserve Exhibitor space and what's included?
