Event Details

Heading into 2019, the employment market will continue to reflect the growing economy as a whole, with low unemployment and increasing demand for top talent. For accounting and finance professionals, the issue of high demand and low supply is exacerbated by the large number of retiring executives in comparison to the low level of graduates in the field. Professionals in this climate have leverage over their current and prospective employers – and they are not afraid to use it! Increased salaries, stronger benefit programs, and added flexibility in work schedules are just the beginning.

This presentation will discuss:

  • Driving forces in the Inland Empire contributing to a growing economy and rising salaries
  • Recent job satisfaction surveys and what matters most to professionals
  • Skills that are in high demand
  • The most accurate salary data for the Inland Empire from CFO to Bookkeepers

About the Speaker:

Rob has made good use of his BA Degree in Economics from California State University, San Bernardino – consulting and partnering with clients in the Inland Empire for over 13 years.   Specializing in Accounting and Finance, Rob has helped his clients hire over 1,500 professionals throughout his career. Prior to joining the recruiting industry, Rob was a 5th grade public school teacher for the Val Verde Unified School District in Perris, CA, and was in charge of student council, coordination of grade level lesson plans to state standards, and coaching boys’ track, boys’ basketball, and girls’ softball for his school.  If you have met Rob, you already know that his market research and knowledge make him a true consultant, and his teaching mentality comes through on almost every call and client visit.  Rob prides himself on sincerely trying to help, on doing the homework to get it right, and on providing a level of service that has made him a respected business partner to his many clients.

For this presentation, he will be discussing salary changes specific to the Inland Empire for Accounting and Finance Professionals and changes to our Inland Empire labor force; specifically - hiring, inspiring, training, and retaining the workforce of tomorrow while trying to maintain and motivate the workforce of today!
