INDIANAPOLIS – Local firefighters will ignite downtown Indianapolis at the 2019 Indy Firefighter Calendar Release Party on Friday November 16th, 2018.

This year’s event will be held at the Firefighters Local 416 Union Hall from 5 pm – 9 pm. The event will showcase “12 Shades of Fire” Vol. II chosen to be featured in the 2019 Indy Firefighter Calendar. The event raises funds to support Firefighter "Not for Profit" and proactive youth serving agencies all year round and during the holidays when the need is so great.

WHAT: The hottest firefighters in Indy will take the stage in a proactive effort to sell firefighter calendars which raise critical funds for local youth serving organizations. Firefighters will be on hand after the performances to personally autograph calendars and provide special opportunities for patrons to take memorable photos with firefighters.

WHERE: Local 416 Union Hall (748 Massachusetts Avenue).

WHEN: Friday November 16th, 2018 (Doors open at 5:00 pm for a mix and mingle with refreshments and a light menu. The firefighter runway event starts at 7:00 pm).

WHY: This is our largest fundraising project to have a positive impact on Indianapolis youth. Funds will support firefighter projects that stop the violence, develop leadership skills, increase reading skills, teach civility and responsibility, provide college access training and new opportunities. Firefighters will sponsor families in desperate need of help during the Christmas holiday with clothes, food, and toys. The project also provides resources for Firefighters with Cancer, and to support a girls basketball team.
