Description

A Must-Do, Live Fire Culinary Experience
Heritage Fire by Cochon555 on 7/27!

America’s beloved, live-fire, open-air culinary experience comes back to Charles Krug Winery on July 27, 2019 with an all-star cast of chefs who specialize in whole animal and sustainable fish cookery. The list of heritage and heirloom foods includes dry-aged beef, whole pigs, lamb, oysters, duck, an array of sustainable fish, chicken, artisan cheeses, and heirloom vegetables. With a greater goal of promoting honest food prepared by artisans, celebrating family farming, and shining a gastronomic spotlight on the hard-working people who are raising heritage-breed animals, the all-inclusive wood-fired feast will feature more than 30 prominent chefs, farmers, sommeliers, distillers, brewers and barkeeps all working in concert to create luxurious moments that educate the palate.

The event’s ultimate aim is to provide education to consumers and create an experience that guests can sink their teeth into: honest food from real farmers. Every event is a fundraiser for Cochon555's sister charity, Piggy Bank — a start-up farm in Missouri that serves as a kickstarter for new family farms and a safety net for those in the wake of a disaster (flood, fire and disease).

VIP Access $200
Start celebrating early and treat yourself to the VIP experience with an extra hour of extravagance to get up close with the chefs, winemakers and farmers who make it all happen. Chefs will serve one special dish to entice your palate while professional bartenders and sommeliers bring their best game forward with specialty cocktails and reserve wines.

General Admission $150
A unique signature three-hour culinary experience of delight and wonderment. Feast on heritage breed animals cooked over live fires, a perfect setting of ethically sourced food, and a variety of beverages from local craft breweries, distilleries and wineries - all created by some of the nation’s most forward-thinking food and drink leaders.
