Principles of Motivational Interviewing (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.): Participants will learn the foundational principles behind using motivational interviewing (MI) to communicate with clients/patients and practice using techniques and skills of MI.
Target audience: anyone who is responsible for communicating health information to clients/patients.
Join the Pennsylvania Health Literacy Coalition for a set of trainings focused on health literacy topics. In addition to the training described above, the following training sessions are available. Participants may selectively attend the training(s) of interest to them.
