Haiti Tech Summit, founded by Forbes 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur, Mother and Wife, Christine Souffrant Ntim, is a 13- year initiative of the Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE) which brings together hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, digital marketers and creatives together to Haiti to accelerate tech, innovation and economic development within the country.

In 2017, Haiti hosted 100 global speakers from around the world. The summit generated over 83 million social media impressions, 87 global press mentions and welcomed over 500 guests for 2 historic days tuning it into the region’s largest tech gathering and Haiti’s first major international global summit. The summit returned in 2018 with 100 global speakers and 750 guests featuring the headline keynote - Jack Dorsey the founder of Twitter and Square.

Hosting an event of this magnitude in Haiti not only aims to revitalize economic activity in the country but to also provide a new narrative for Haiti and emerging markets. “Haiti is not open for business. Haiti is open for disruption" Christine Ntim (Founder).

Thursday June 20th Arrival Day

Police Escort Service - 7am until sunset.

Locals- Ticket holders only! Please arrive at the airport at 7:00am sharp. You will see Haiti Tech Summit banners at the departure gate waiting area where all police escorts and shuttles will be parked. For those coming with their personal cars to be apart of the entourage- please be prepared for the Police to take photos of your license plate and line up your car. Once we have all locals seated and private cars accounted for, we will leave to Decameron.


Internationals- All ticket holders received an email to submit their flight information. Haiti Tech Summit ambassadors with t-shirts will welcome you when you land to help you get to your luggage and exit to the escort cars. The line up will look like how we did yesterday afternoon- with escort cars in the front, middle and back. (See yesterday's line up below)


Security Supported Helicopter

Yesterday we finalized all schedules for transport. VIP Internationals ticket holders + speakers and notified sponsors will be received on site starting at 7am. Meet at the same location as shuttle service for transport to Helicopter pick ups.


Friday & Saturday

  • Shuttles for locals to arrive will start at the airport same location at 6:30am each morning.

Sunday Departure Day

  • All protocols for Thursday will be enforced. Exits start at 5am through the morning to leave Decameron to airport drop off for all participants.
