Exploring the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals.

 

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), universally adopted by the world’s governments in 2015, aim to set a framework for action on economic development, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. Learn how you can assist the Houston area advance closer towards these goals by 2030.

Onsite registration and check-in begins at 8:30 am; the event begins at 9:00 am.

Program includes:

  • Excellent Keynote and Featured Speakers
  • Table Talks
  • Exhibit Tables from CEC member groups and local businesses
  • Delicious, locally-grown food from Pat Greer's Kitchen

Interested in tabling at the event? Space is available starting at $5 for member organizations.
Once you purchase a ticket to the event, you will have the opportunity to reserve a spot for tabling on the next page.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

  • Parking is available at no charge in the parking garage behind the United Way Community Resource Center.
  • Busses 40, 56, 71, and 85 are all in the area.
  • Nearby bike trails go along Heights Blvd., Washington Ave, and Buffalo Bayou. There is a B-Cycle station at Spotts Park, on the other side of Heights Blvd.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. We'll have a list of the folks who registered, so save a tree.

Citizens' Environmental Coalition is a coalition of 130-plus environmental organizations dedicated to improving the quality of our water, air, and land throughout the Houston-Galveston area, The CEC has been working to foster dialogue, education, and collaboration on environmental issues in the Houston/Gulf Coast region since before its incorporation in 1971. The CEC’s weekly e-news reaches over 5,000 subscribers each week.
