Event description
This event is for swimmers AND parents! 2x Paralympian McKenzie Coan and renowned sports psychologist Megan Cannon are coming to H-town!

About this Event

Sign up now for Gulf Swimming's annual Gold Medal Clinic! Here's why YOU need to attend this year:

  • we have added a free parent session with sports psychologist Dr. Megan Cannon featuring the "mind of the swimmer," and how you, as a parent, can most positively support your athlete.
  • the clinic will focus on what a difference it makes in your LIFE to have a positive attitude...it will affect your swimming and school performance in ways you never thought possible!
  • McKenzie has the connective tissue disorder "Osteogenesis imperfecta", which is most associated with brittle bones. Coan has broken over 50 bones in her lifetime...and despite major setbacks, has become one of the World's fastest freestylers.
  • Learn tips for a faster and more efficient freestyle.
  • Hear McKenzie's amazing story!

Tickets are $20 (plus fee) for swimmers and are NO COST for parents.

Parents- please add the free ticket to your cart upon registration so we know you're coming! You will attend your session at the same time as your swimmer. You will have the opportunity to watch the beginning of the clinic- and then will participate in a breakout with Dr. Megan Cannon.
