Join Girl Up in Washington, D.C., for the flagship 2019 Girl Up Leadership Summit. This year, the Summit is all about celebrating Global Girl Power! The event is open to all registered students ages 13-22. Register at the early bird rate of $129 by March 31 before the event sells out.
This will be our most global Leadership Summit yet, with more than 400 youth changemakers from around the world. Don’t miss the opportunity to convene with other youth activists to exchange ideas and set goals for how to make your impact on gender equality. You will leave with the knowledge, skills, and new friendships necessary to take your girl power to the next level.
On-site registration will be open from 4:00-6:00pm on Sunday, July 14. There will be a "Welcome Ice Breaker" to meet other attendees - you won't want to miss it!
Monday and Tuesday will consist of discussions with leaders across sectors who are making progress toward gender equality and interactive workshops to identify what it takes to build and lead a global and intersectional movement. On Wednesday, you’ll put your skills to work during a Day of Action!
The Leadership Summit will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building, which is wheelchair accessible. Please indicate in your registration if you would like accommodations for a disability.
The Ronald Reagan Building does have gender neutral restrooms. Please ask a staff member for assistance in locating them.
