Game of Throws: A Tournament is Coming

Inaugural Cornhole Tournament for Charity

Grand Prize: $350 cash to winning team of 2

Second Place: 2 pairs of tickets to a Chicago Blackhawks game

Why:  To raise money for the Inner-City Education (ICE) Program's ongoing mission to provide academic and hockey opportunities for low-income children that would not otherwise be available to them. The ICE Program is a 501 (c) (3) non profit. More info on the ICE Program at www.innercityeducation.org.

Ticket Options and Costs:  

  • $30 for General Admission entry includes all food and drink from 6-9pm
  • Additional $20 per person ($50 total per person, $100 per team) to play in the tournament
  • Raffle tickets will be available for purchase onsite to win various prizes. Must be present to win.

Cornhole Tournament Rules:  

  • 32 two-person teams with a single-elimination format
  • 15 minute time limit per game. Highest score at that time advances
  • No two point lead needed to win
  • Cornhole boards are regulation size at 27 feet apart
  • Matchups of teams will be random
  • No overhand throwing allowed
  • All decisions by ICE Program volunteer refs are final. Please remember we are here to have fun!
  • Any rules not listed above will follow the official Cornhole Rules for ACA Tournaments as outlined at www.playcornhole.org/pages/rules
