Deliver for the River

Looks like we are going to have a nice day for our river clean up!

Please note- there has been a change in meeting location.

Here are the details for Sunday:
7:45 am - Meet at the Lost Pines Nature Trails- 375 Riverside Dr
8:00 am Shuttle to Fisherman's Park
8:15 am Check-in, supplies distribution and breakfast
9:00 am River Launch
1:00 pm Arrive at take out, off load treasures, snacks, pictures

The easiest way to get to Lost Pines Nature Trail is to go South off Hwy 71 on Tahitian Village Drive.
Continue until it ends and turn right on Riverside Dr, it is 2 miles, look for the blue & white sign that says Texas Paddle Trail on the left.
Turn in left and go through thru gates, veer left to end of parking lot.
Park and look for the shuttle van.
KBCB will supply, breakfast tacos, snacks for the trip, water, grabbers, trash and recycle bags
Wear water shoes if you have them and get ready to have a blast!

Keep Bastrop County Beautiful is hosting the 7th Bastrop River Rally on October 20th.

KBCB is partnering with Rising Phoenix to provide kayaks, paddles and life jackets to clean-up the El Camino Paddle Trail.

The River Cleanup on Sunday


Paddle a boat down the El Camino Trail of the Colorado River and pick up some trash along the way. A $100 value excursion for the gracious commitment fee of only $10! Can’t be beat! Not only are you getting the chance to impact your local environment by cleaning up the river, you are getting to explore nature at a fraction of the cost. This donation goes right back into Bastrop County in the form of trash clean-ups, recycling information, environmental scholarships and educational workshops throughout the year! We thank you for doing your part to Keep Bastrop County Beautiful!


This Year’s Details

The KBCB River Rally will be held this year on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Detailed schedule below:

River Clean-up

  • 8:00 – 9:00 Registration and Launch Kayakers at Fisherman’s Park
  • 9:30 – 1:00 on water El Camino Trail
  • 10:30 – 1:00 Collect and weight trash at the Colorado River Refuge and return to LCRA/Fisherman’s Park.
