Event description

Description

The Austin/Travis County Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) will host an all-day Action Planning Summit on Friday, February 1st at the Asian American Resource Center (8401 Cameron Road).

Planning Summit attendees will break out into workgroups based on the four CHIP priorities identified through the 2017 Community Health Assessment (CHA). These workgroups are:

  • Access to and Affordability of Health Care
  • Chronic Disease with a Focus on Risk Factors and Community Based Disease Management
  • Sexual Health with a Focus on Teen Pregnancy
  • Stress, Mental Health, and Wellbeing

Individuals and organizations who are interested in contributing to the creation of an actionable implementation plan for the four health priorities are encouraged to sign up to attend. Select one workgroup to RSVP from the ticket options. Prior to the event in early January, a webinar will be held to inform participants about what to expect at the planning summit.

A light breakfast and lunch will be available for summit participants. We look forward to seeing you there!
