Join the Public Relations Society of America Oregon chapter for CommCon 2019, the premier professional development opportunity for communicators in Oregon and throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Conference Schedule:

  • 8:00 am - 8:30 am: Networking/Breakfast
  • 8:30 am - 3:30 pm: Conference
  • 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm: Networking/Happy Hour

The annual Communicator’s Conference attracts strategic communications (e.g., public relations, internal communications, content strategy) professionals spanning various industries, careers, and levels of experience. The event also attracts professionals working in other fields, including human resources, marketing, and media. The conference draws an audience of approximately 250 professionals. The conference focuses on trends that impact the communications professional by offering industry insights, interactive discussions and tangible skills. This year’s theme, Communicating Through Chaos, promises to deliver valuable content and exciting presentations. Attendees will be able to connect with some of Oregon’s most influential companies and organizations.

This year, We're pleased to welcome two keynote speakers, Chuck Gose and Suzanne Stevens. Chuck is a strategic communication thought leader, an advisor with top employee communications platform socialchorus, and host of the Icology and Culture, Comms, and Cocktails podcasts as well as the Chuck Chats series with bananatag. Suzanne is the Editor of the Portland Business Journal, Portland's leading business-focused publication. Suzanne spent seven years as a senior editor at The Deal in New York, where she wrote about corporate mergers and acquisitions. Suzanne also spent time as an associate editor at Oregon Business Magazine and 12 years working in public radio at stations in Kentucky and North Carolina, where she was a frequent contributor to National Public Radio.

Parking is free at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel is located on the MAX line and is accessible by public transit. Maps and directions can be found here.

    ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets are transferable by updating attendee information. In the event of a cancellation or reschedule, a refund may be issued at the discretion of the PRSA Oregon board of directors.
