Special Keynote Speaker: Shane Bush

The keynote speaker for the 2019 Nebraska Excavation Safety Summit is T. Shane Bush. Shane is the co-founder of BushCo HPI, Inc. whose primary mission is to “assist companies in eliminating unwanted outcomes related to human error”. BushCo HPI’s focus is specifically on Human Performance Improvement (HPI) in relationship to organizational processes and Safety Cultures. Organizational weaknesses can have a large amount of influence on individual performance. Current statistics show that we all average ~5 errors per hour. Most employees involved in incidents or accidents are well intended workers who have made errors at critical steps. Shane’s educational message, delivered in a fun and energetic way, is intended to help organizations and employees defend against the consequences of errors through the implementation of a Human Performance Improvement initiative.
