General Admission ticket is good for one participant for the following 2-day seminar: COLLEGE OF MARIN MINI-MEDICAL SCHOOL: MEDICAL SCIENCE AND AGING held on Saturday, 1/26/19, 9am-12noon (check-in starts at 8am) & Saturday, 2/2/19, 9am-12noon (check-in starts at 8am). This seminar will be held in the James Dunn Theatre, Performing Arts Building, Kentfield Campus, College of Marin. Parking is free on both event days. Please arrive early to sign in, receive a participant packet, and partake in light refreshments in the theatre lobby. This is a complimentary, no-fee seminar. To support this important educational series, donations of $25-$50 are highly encouraged. You can make your tax-deductible donation online at http://advancement.marin.edu. Click “Donate Now” and select “Mini-Med” for the gift designation. Checks made payable to Marin Community College District can be brought to the seminar or mailed to College of Marin Advancement Office, 835 College Ave, Kentfield, CA 94904 (note “Mini Med” in check memo line). Event Details

College of Marin (COM) presents the fourth annual Mini-Medical School: Medical Science and Aging. Mini-Medical School seminars have been developed with a focus on the second half of life, normal human aging, and avoiding diseases. Seminar content is appropriate for passionate and curious adults, both young seniors/boomers, maturing adults, and students and community members of any age who have an interest in the second half of life. Program partners have included top medical school clinical professors as well as respected researchers from Stanford University; University of California, Davis; University of California, San Francisco; and Kaiser Permanente. CEUs available for registered nurses. 

This year’s two-part seminar will take place on Saturday, January 26 and Saturday, February 2 in the James Dunn Theatre, Kentfield Campus. Enjoy check-in and light refreshments from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The program will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. This is a complimentary, no-fee seminar. Registration is for both days.
