Event description

Description

Join communities across the U.S. for the thirteenth annual CHINA Town Hall that provides Americans a nuanced understanding of U.S.-China relations. A national webcast of a panel of China experts will be followed by a local town hall discussion moderated by UC San Diego's 21st Century China Center scholars Victor Shih and Lei Guang.

George Stephanopoulos will moderate this year’s webcast discussion; he will be joined by NCUSCR President Stephen Orlins; Yasheng Huang at MIT Sloan School of Management; Ely Ratner at the Center for a New American Security; and Melanie Hart, China Policy Director at the Center for American Progress and UC San Diego alumna.

This event is sponsored by the 21st Century China Center. It is co-sponsored by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and The Bishop's School.

A reception will be held after the event.
